My father and his teenage girlfriend became pregnant and my Grandmother sent the girl (Sandy) to an unwed home for mothers in San Francisco where she had the child and put the child up for adoption. My grandmother made my father go into the military. I think my dates are correct but I am not positive. Our Father’s name is Richard. They lived in Central California when she became pregnant. This child’s mother was Caucasian, the father may have been described as Mexican but I think we are actually Native American with French and Spanish from what I recall my grandmother telling me as a child. Our Father was in the military and then got out of the Military and met my mother shortly thereafter. My mother (not yours) married our father 1 month after they met on her 18th Birthday. Together they had 4 children. The first one, a daughter was born 9 months later and died as a baby related to a reaction from immunizations. My brother was born 2 years later and then I was born 2 years after him and my younger brother born 2 years after me. Our Grandfatheraa well as our father had a lifetime issue with alcohol. Our younger brother also struggles with the same issue. Our (My Older) brother as well as myself do not have alcohol issues or any other addictions. Our father was a hard worker and a functioning alcoholic. I know nothing about your mother other than she recognized me as a child of my father’s when I was a candy striper at a hospital. She told me who she was and it was then that I found out about you. My mother verified the story to be true.
