Hi. I’m searching on behalf of my mother who was given up for adoption at birth. She was born in San Francisco on March 23, 1958. Her mother was 15 years old and did not want to let her go but at the request of her parents, she had no choice. My mother was given the name Sharon Lee Edmonds by her birth mother but it was changed to Janice Ann Vaughn by her adoptive parents 3 days after she was born. I have a lot of details but I have no idea where to start for this. Please Helo point me in the right direction!
