I am looking for my twin half sisters that were given up for adoption in 1949 or 1950. I know one of the babies names given at birth was Joan. It was in Los Angeles County, possibly through holy services. But it definitely was a catholic adoption. My mothers name was Rita Genevieve Landy. But I know she did not use her real name. I saw a birth record of Joan Rita Francis. In 1949 but would have no idea how to contact someone if their name was changed. Francis was my grandfather’s middle name. So... If being an adoptee, with a twin, Los Angeles County, catholic adoption one will the name Joan given at birth rings true please contact me through this site. Thank you for your time. I actually do not know the month or date, only possible year. It would not let me submit this with out some information.
