Hello! I’m searching for any of my Mother’s birth family that might still be alive. My mother is turning 74 this month (September) and I think it would mean a lot to her to find some living relatives. She is the sweetest and most loving woman! She was born in September 1950 in San Diego‚ CA. This is also where the adoption took place‚ at which time she was already a few months old. So she had to have either lived with her birth family first‚ prior to adoption‚ or perhaps she was cared for by an adoption center or charity of some kind after birth. The adoptions from that period are sealed obviously‚ and she has little to no information to go by. Her birth certificate does not give any information for the biological family‚ only the adoptive parents‚ whose names were Martha and Arthur Soderman of San Diego‚ CA. I understand that she had been told by her adoptive family that her biological parents were Polish....but I’m not sure how that rumor started‚ she’s never had any proof of that. It may be true‚ it may not. Any help would be appreciated. May God bless you!
