Santa Clara County‚ California.I was not born in a hospital.I will keep many details to myself for discussion & possible confirmation with anyone that may believe they are a biological relative to me. Local Sheriff brought me to Stanford Hospital‚ the ICU forms indicate "mother is now in jail." I want my mother to know I understand the details involved that I am not disclosing here.I also understand that this happened BEFORE California launched their SafeSurrender program.I have searched for you before. The info listed on the ICU forms for the mother is transient‚ age 35 & the last name given is Johnson. There is a first name but searches using it have not yielded relevant results. At one point it was suggested that any information given was most likely false & an alias. (I did notice the name is shared by a lovely Jazz singer from before either of our times.) It is possible you were not a transient as date collection then was scarce & it may have been your choice to withhold address information & you had no ID (maybe you were not even 35). As you were arrested & jailed (for what‚ giving birth & not knowing where to go or what to do?)this led me to being registeted as a foster adopt. I still wonder if my mother’s rights were violated due to the nature of my birth & the hours following it. I have two polaroids from June 1985. When a little older‚ I was also given an item of jewelry I am told was left with me. Please contact me if you believe you are my biological relative‚ mother or you may have known her & any of this sounds familiar. *also-Important* If you do not remember leaving any item of jewelry‚ please STILL contact me.While every other detail can be verified with official documents‚ it is possible the item of jewelry given to me along with its origin story is just a sweet & thoughtful gesture by my adoptive parents. I will never question the authenticity of the polaroids because I see the woman that is holding me in those photos nearly every time I look in the mirror. I am not expecting any biological relative to change their present life upon establishing a link. A hug & conversation in a public location would be a great start & I am willing to find means to travel as far as required. That being said‚ no meeting is required. Regardless of any perceived flaws I will not reject the love & connection I feel towards my mother that is holding me in the two polaroids that are so precious to me. I apologize for the above lengthy read. Surprisingly‚ when considering circumstance‚ I kept this brief. *Update: mother may have been 37 at my time of birth.
