My mother Georgedean Cook had a son‚ my half brother‚ 2-5 years before I was born and I am trying to locate him. I just became aware of his existence. Or I would have reached out much sooner. I have just a few details. She met his biological father in New York City while working as an Au Pair for her uncle. She then went back to her grandparents house in Plainview‚ TX. From there her grandmother sent her to California to a "home for unwed mothers" to give birth and give the baby up for adoption. This would have been between the years of 1969 and 1972.
