I was given up for adoption (illegally) to parents that were in their late 50’s in Monterey Park, California in 1958 when I was only three hours old. I was not told that I was adopted until I was 17. I was told that my real Mother’s name was ’Betty’ and that she lived in El Monte, CA. I was told that my real Father (no name) was married, was a Barber, had five sons and was married living in possibly Rosemead, CA. I was told that he was Italian. A surgeon at Garfield Hospital in Monterey Park forged all of the paperwork for my adoptive Mother and also forged my own birth certificate to make it look like my Adoptive Mother was in fact, my real Mother (and the same for my Adoptive Father). I am now 58 years old, have no family and have never been able to put the puzzle together about where I actually came from. This fact has caused intense emotional pain for my entire life. Someone must know something about me. I need to know who I belonged to, who I look like, etc.....I also have a huge desire to find out if I have any half-siblings. I’m sure that my birth parents are no longer alive but I need to know who they WERE!
