My name is Michelle and I am looking for any biological family members I have. I have reason to believe that My biological mother was Marna Weaver from Auburn California. Whom is now deceased. I don’t know who my biological father was. However‚ I found who I believe is a nephew from my father’s side and his last name is Rhodes and he lives in Indiana. He believes that my father was his uncle who is also deceased. I was adopted through the Children’s Home Society in Auburn California in 1961. My adoption was very hush hush and I believe it was because my mother and her parents were very respected and important in the community. I’ve tried to get my records open with no luck. I’m assuming that the judge wouldn’t open my records because he was friends with my biological family. My biological grandfather from what I have been told started Sierra College in Rocklin California in the 60’s. And was a very respected and professional man. His name was H. Weaver. My mother was the youngest I believe of their 7 children. He was also a lay minister and my mom played the organ occasionally for the church.
