I was born 4/27/48 in Los Angeles‚ California. My mother was Arlene Joyce Baker nee Strand‚ age19‚ from Nebraska. My father was Ronald Earl Baker‚ age 22‚ from Oregon. At the time I was born I had a brother 19 mos. old‚ named Stephen Lawrence Baker. We were abandoned in 1949 in Tulare County‚ California and had separate abandonment hearings in Visalia‚ California. My hearing and adoption was in June of 1950‚ my brother’s abandonment hearing was in December of 1950‚ but I don’t know if he was adopted. I have been unable to find any official record for him‚ so I am assuming he was adopted with a new name. My adoption records are sealed and I am assuming his were as well.
