When I was 18 years old my mother told me that my father (V. R. Smith) had a child before they met. He had a little boy with a woman named Robin (she goes by Robbie). I was able to track down the birth mother and ask some questions of what she knew or remembered. Born in 11/1981. I know he was born in Fresno‚ California area to a Mormon family from Northen Utah. I don’t have much more information and have been trying to find resources on and off for the past 10+ years to find more information. The birth mother said it was a private adoption but she gave him a book with family history and permission to contact her. Everything costs money to try to find any information on someone that was adopted. Birth name Garrett Royce and birth mother’s last name.
