I am looking for my father‚ Darrell Avery’s‚ birth parents. Ralph Avery —adopted father Elizabeth Avery—adopted mother He was born on May 22nd in San Diego‚ California. I am his daughter. I have no information on my father’s original birth parents but I believe his adoption was already arranged before he was born and it was a closed adoption. I don’t know if his birth parents want or wanted any information about my father. I took a DNA test and was connected with some distant relatives of his on both sides who gave me some names but don’t know which of their distant cousins might be my dad’s parent. The names I have are Kathleen Boardman or James Emenegger‚ who both lived in Lake County‚ CA and went to school together. They probably would have been teenagers when my dad was born.
