My brother was actually picked up from the hospital by a Catholic nun at the hospital on the day of his birth. I am not sure of the name of the entity connected with the Catholic Church‚ but my parents moved to Oakland for six months from Louisiana so my mother would give birth there‚ then they moved back to Louisiana shortly afterwards. His birth certificate is recorded in Oakland County. I was able to access it back in 2017‚ but the records are no long available online. He was likely adopted in Oakland/San Francisco area. Can anyone please help?
