I was born July 26th, 1958 in Turlock CA. My father told me a few years ago that my adopted parents knew my biological mother. He also told me that I have 2 other sisters and as he remembered them, they were about 3 and 5 years old at the time of my birth. He told me my biological mother’s name was Shirley Brady but I have no way to confirm this. He also told me that my mother was married at the time of my birth, but was not with her husband when she got pregnant with me. Her husband is not by bio father. She wanted to get back together with her husband so placed me for adoption. I don’t want to cause any issues in anyone’s life. I have no way of knowing if her husband ever knew of my existence, or if my sisters know about me and I don’t want to disrupt anyone’s life but my children have long encouraged me to search as they would like to have medical history info and I do believe having access to that information should be a basic right. I am open to having a relationship but understand if it is not possible, but it would be nice to have some medical info.
