Looking for my half brother (shared bio father) who was born in San Francisco or San Jose‚ CA on Aug 12‚ 1958 to a woman named Diane and removed to The Children’s Home Society on Aug. 21‚ 1958‚ for adoption. I don’t know if there were adopted parents already lined up or not. During her pregnancy and I believe also during the birth Diane was being cared for by the St. Elizabeth’s Maternity Home (or Home for Unwed Mothers‚ or Infant Hospital - I believe it was called different names) in San Francisco‚ CA. Our father’s name was Rolf (Ralph) and I never knew him either‚ but have confirmed DNA tests. In the last month some old letters were uncovered that leads me to believe you exist out there somewhere and I hope we can find each other. I’m in the process of going the legal route in CA but as I’m a sibling and not a parent‚ I fear I will be denied the information I need in your file to find you. I would like to get to know you but I also have health information for you that I will share with no strings attached‚ if that is how you would like things to be. You deserve your health history and I will answer any questions that I can. I don’t have a lot of answers as I never knew our father either‚ but what I do know‚ I will share.
