I was born on 4/9/65 in Fresno‚ CA. and was releasesd from the hospital on 4/12/65 and placed in the care of Children's Home Society of California (CHS). On 4/20/65‚ my birth mother signed documents that allowed me to be adopted. I remained at CHS until I went to live with my adopted parents on 5/5/65. My birth mother was 19 at the time of my birth‚ and my father was twenty-two. My birth parents met at a summer job while both were in college. My father did not know about the pregnancy‚ and he was not listed on my birth certificate. My birth father was born in Mississippi and was studying premed in college.
