I believe my birth name was Kenny or Kenneth Bowles‚ and I was born November 15th 1970 at Mount Eden (or Eden) hospital in Castro Valley‚ Ca. - I was immediately given up at birth so I have never met my birth mother. I was in the foster care system for the first four years of my life until I was adopted. My adopted parents then had my name legally changed to Kinte Keyes. About 3 years back‚ I was able to locate my biological father whose name is Herbert Pickens. I have since developed a relationship with him‚ but he also has no knowledge of my biological mother because he did not know that I existed until I found him through another sibling on Ancestry.com - It is my great hope to connect with my birth mother‚ for I have so many questions that I need answered before I leave this Earth.
