I’m writing to discover more about my natural parents and birth family. I was born in LA Area in April 1969 and was adopted later that year through Los Angeles County Department of Adoptions. I was held in the hospital longer than normal due to some facial paralysis and I was apparently extremely frightened of all strangers. This is what I know about my natural parents as reported in 1970 by the Adoption Case Worker: Father: Caucasian‚ of German‚ Irish descent‚ 26 yrs old (born 1944?/would be 74 now?)‚ Catholic‚ completed High School‚ employed as a mechanic and single. He is 6’3”‚ 190 lbs with hazel eyes‚ light brown hair‚ fair complexion with oval facial features and muscular body build. He is reported to be in excellent health and enjoys water sports. Mother: Caucasian‚ of Spanish‚ German‚ Scotch and English descent‚ born in 1942 (28 yrs old at the time?/would be 76 now?)‚ Protestant‚ completed 3 yrs of High School‚ employed as a clerk and divorced. She is 5’7”‚ 115 lbs with blue eyes‚ auburn hair‚ fair complexion with slender facial features. She is reported to be in good health and enjoys art‚ music and reading.
