I’m searching for my birth father. He was born in 1945. Brown Hair, Blue Eyes. He was in the Navy in 1964. I was Born in Los Angeles, California on June 30, 1965. I was given the name Ann Simpson at birth. I found my biological mother in 1986, but had continued to search for my biological father with no luck. I took DNA test at every genealogy site that offered one. In 2018 the DNA test started giving me matches that I could not trace to my birth mother’s side, as I had an amazing amount of information about her side, thanks to my grandfather being very interested in genealogy. But then I started getting matches I couldn’t trace to her side. And soon I was in contact with people who showed up as 3rd cousin’s. But my big problem was I was still looking for someone with the last name Simpson. It wasn’t till 2018/2019 someone suggested that Simpson wasn’t the name of my birth father’s last name. I decided to call a professional genealogist. And with her help, she found my biological father’s sur name which was Hobbs and found his family. She helped me contact them.
