My parents (Ross and Miriam Barbour) and the parents of the young man who fathered the child (I do not remember their/his name) worked with an attorney in Omaha, NE (unknown) and arranged for me, the birth mother (Phyllis Barbour), to be sent from Omaha, NE, to Palos Verdes, CA to stay with a family, give birth and then be sent back home to Omaha. . I believe the name of the people I stayed with were Robert and Irene Whetstone. I believe the name of the hospital where I gave birth was Little Company of Mary, in Torrance, CA and the Doctors name was Whitaker.
