I was born in Glendale California. The information my adoptive parents were given was in the form of a letter from the adoptive agency, the County of Los Angeles Department of Adoptions. The case worker was Gloria Waldinger. According to the letter my birth mother was born in 1944. She was married and had a daughter, who would be my half sister. Then her husband was killed in a plane crash. She had a relationship with my birth father after her husband’s death but when she ended up pregnant they decided not to stay together and my birth mother couldn’t raise two little girls by herself.
