My father was adopted in 1948‚ his birth records say very little about his birth parents‚ his adopted family had a family member who had a private medical practice‚ and had brokered his adoption‚ his mother’s name listed is Elizabeth Synder/Saunders‚ but I don’t know if the name on the adoption records was even true. His adopted family were wealthy and his adopted dad was an sweety so who knows. His adopted mother died when my father was in Vietnam for the war and he didn’t have much of a relationship with his adopted dad. We are seeking his birth parents because we want to know where he came from‚ and what his background is. In addition‚ I’m also dying of a pretty serious cancer and understanding his history may help explain things better.
