I am looking for the birth parents of my father Robert Hartsell Sr (deceased). He was adopted at birth in Los Angeles California. His adopted parents were Norris and Ruth Hartsell (both deceased). The stories we’re told was his birth parents were college students and the mom was forced to give him up. I’m on ancestry.com and familysearch.org as well with no connections so far. I don’t know where to start or what I can do as far as any records or paper work that could be available to me. Please help! If this sounds familiar at all please reach out!
