My adopted parents were wonderful and very open. They told me I was adopted right from Eden Hospital in Castro Valley, California. My birth parents were around 19 years old and from very Catholic, Portuguese families. My birth mother may have been Maryanne or Marie Anne and she attended San Lorenzo High School in the early 1970s.
