I was born on Feb. 25‚ 1959 at 1:01 pm. I was adopted in June of same year‚ 1959‚ in San Diego‚ California. I was adopted through an adoption agency. It was a closed adoption. My birth certificate shows the names of my adopted parents‚ not my birth parents. I was told by my adopted parents that my natural mother's and natural father's parents facilitated the adoption. The agency gave the following information to my adopted parents: my mother was 5'6"‚ my father was 6'0"‚ they were of sound health and mind. I have been told that I'm of Swedish‚ Irish and Scottish ancestry. However‚ as a child‚ I read in two different letters from my adopted mother to two different correspondants‚ that I was Swedish‚ Irish and Scot in one letter‚ and Swedish Irish and English in another letter. I don't know the name of the San Diego adoption agency that processed my adoption‚ nor what hospital I was born in. This is all I know. I appreciate any help given.
