I was born at Herrick-Highland Hospital in Oakland‚ CA‚ on January 8‚ 1960 at 2:50 AM according to my adoptive birth certificate. My birth mother supposedly handed my over for adoption through the Oakland Dept. Of Social Services where I was placed in foster care until I was adopted at 14 months in a closed sealed adoption. Through sources‚ I was able to see a partial of my original birth certificate that was signed by an Amelia Lizary who is suspected of being my maternal grandmother is the only main lead I have. I wrote to the Oakland Dept. of Social Services requesting any info about me & I let them know I want to be in contact with any family member searching for me‚ but with no success. I also sent my DNA to Ancestory.com on the advice of my adoptive sister who found her birth mother. My birth mother had filipino roots & my birth father was Hawaiian. My adoptive parents passed of cancer and gave me a good‚ loving home-life & my adoptive brother a few years older than me died young. I still have an older adoptive sister I’m close to & we have an older adoptive brother that suffers drug addiction & wants nothing to do with us. It is a small world after all with a lot of info available now so I’m hoping someone out there knows something to help me. Thank you in advance for info that leads to finding any birth family.
