I was born October 27, 1969, in West Covina California. My birth mother had come to the states from Honduras. There she was in a convent where she was placed after her mother died and her father could not take care of her. There is where she met my father who was from Illinois and left shortly after finding out I was conceived. My mother then came to California where her father and sister lived. She wanted to keep me but was told by he sister she could stay but not with a baby. She had a sister that lived in Chicago and said if she could make there that they would help so she could keep me. Well obviously that didn’t happen and I was put into foster care and was adopted by my mom and dad at the age of 6 months.
