Looking for a daughter given up my Cindy McCoy in Alameda County, CA or possibly Sacramento County, CA. The baby was born prior to Cindy being married and having a son. Her son was born in Sacramento in early 1969. There’s a good chance its one of two girls based on the CABI - either born Jan 17, 1960 w/surname Bennett or born June 17. 1964 w/surname Barlow. But, we cannot confirm for sure. We’re speculating based on one comment that was provided on a deathbed that the baby may have been born in Alameda, CA. So the months may not be accurate, nor the dates, as this is information based on the California Birth Index and that we’re trying to confirm if one of these two are possibly the sibling. Again, we could be off, so entertain anyone searching for a birth mother with surname McCoy between 1960-1967 in either Alameda or Sacramento counties. Cindy passed away in the early 2000’s from cancer, so we do not have the information. Her son was only told of his half-sister by his father on his father’s deathbed. Cindy grew up in Sacramento and was sent to Oakland to her grandparents to have the baby. Christopher, "Chris" is the brother and now that they are in their 50’s and possibly 60 for her, he’d like to get to know her and give her family medical history.
