My older brother was born John Lester Douglas Jr. Mother’s maiden name was Nathiel Louise Johnson. Nathiel married Thomas Alva Benson in 1949 or 1950 and John was adopted by Thomas and named John Lee Benson. We can’t find his birth certificate to get his license. He was born at St Bernardines hospital in San Bernardino California January 7, 1949. We have called and he has sent money for search and his birth certificate but no one can find it in San Bernardino County. We don’t know if they maybe lived in another county or state at the time of his adoption
