Here’s everything we’ve found out during our search far... He was Born Dec 15th, 1976 and the adoption took place in Los Angeles, CA. His Birth Certificate reads he was born at Centinela Hospital, in Inglewood CA. Time of birth reads as 1804 (6:04pm). We’re not sure how accurate the Birth Certificate is because some details could have been changed in the 70’s. Not likely, but possible. He has no access to his adoption records those were hidden from him, and when his adoptive parents passed away, he didn’t find any. We believe it was a closed adoption. The birth-parents names were intentionally left blank off his re-issued birth certificate during the adoption. He was brought to the family who adopted him, on May 28th, 1977 when he was only 5 months old. He has no memory of his life before that age. He thinks his adoptive mother told him once that his name started with "J" like Justin before it was changed, but he isn’t sure. He doesn’t know much information about his birth-parents. He was told a story, that could be false. Supposedly he was a love child of a young girl and a man that was already married, with kids. But we found other conflicting information. We have narrowed it down to his 1st and 2nd cousins via Ancestry.com. He was potentially (not verified) one of 5 or 6 brothers and sisters, all taken by the government from the birth mother. All older siblings. After speaking with relative located via Ancestry, we have reason to believe his birth-mothers maiden name may have been Florence M. Bennett but the situation with that woman could be a coincidence, but most likely it’s accurate. (BTW Florence, if you’re reading this, your sisters are looking for you too. They miss you.) We have reason to believe his birth-mother’s estranged husband (now diseased, named Silverio Jamarillo) may not have been his birth-father. Florence and Silverio were divorced when she would have been about 2 months pregnant with him, and she may not have even know she was pregnant at the time. Plus his DNA profile does not suggest he’s related to Florence’s ex-husband, Silverio. He’s on Ancestry, registered and shows up as rb_bonham. If this sounds familiar or shows up as a cousin or a close match, please contact me first - he’s nervous, and I’m acting as his mediator before he establishes a connection. He would like to meet his birth family, and/or find his siblings. He doesn’t need anything, he’s just curious about his birth-family.
