My husband was adopted and has never tried to find his family as he doesn’t know if it was known and therefore causing issues for those involved. Apparently his father was a lawyer who was married and he had an affair with his secretary who was not married and so gave him up. He was in the foster care system for 10 months and called John during that time. He then was adopted by Ron and DeEtta Christensen. I would like to surprise him by finding some family members or at least the names of his birth parents for family history purposes if they have passed on.
