I was adopted as a baby in Los Angeles California. I was told that after I was born I had a few issues of concern like a heart murmur. I was told my birth mom wouldn’t sign the papers until she knew I was ok. So they put me in a foster home the first four months of my life until they know I was ok. I was told my birth father was in the military in Vietnam at the time. They tried to contact him but didn’t hear from him so she put me up for adoption on her own. I was told she wanted me to go to a Catholic family. I have a piece of paper with a few bits of information about my birth parents but not a lot, no names, and my birth certificate are blacked out in areas so I don’t know much of anything else, I’m a closed adoption.
