My biological mother’s name was Sandra De La Torre. Her middle name might be Eleanor. she was young probably the age 14 to 16 I want to say 14 or 15 but I’m not positive. I’ve found relatives on 23 & Me but no one had heard from her since she was a teen. I have no information on my biological dad. My parents who adopted me‚ Ron and Linda Alkire said they did a private adoption and I was born at City of Angels Hospital I believe maybe in LA. I’m not exactly sure. They said she was very young and the oldest of many siblings and didn’t want me to grow up like that so she put me up for adoption and interviewed people and picked my parents. She said on the six month mark she showed up at their door to check and see if I was doing well and that’s the last they heard of her. I have always wanted to meet her and now I’m 49 with grand children. My oldest son Marcus wants me to find her‚ he has tried a few times because he always knew I had the part of my life missing. To grow up in a family with parents and brothers who you look nothing like and then finally have a child of your own and have somebody that looks like you is a feeling no one could ever understand.
