I was born in Torrance CA, at Torrance hospital in July, 1959, and was adopted approximately 3 months after I was born. My adoptive parents’ last name is Strauss (obviously, my last name as well.) My “natural” father was in the military, apparently. My adoption was most likely arranged through a Jewish adoption agency.
