My Mother was adopted at the age of 3 - her father relinquished his paternal rights to her and her younger sister (age 2) to my Grandma’s new husband when he was 19 years old. I am interested in finding out more about my maternal grandfather and his family and especially any medical information that may be important to know. All I know is that he was 16 when he and my Grammy got pregnant and they were made to marry. His name was William (Bill) Daubney. I assume he was also born in 1936 like my Grandmother. My mother’s name is Virginia and her sister’s name is Robyn. They lived in the Carlsbad / Oceanside CA area, and his father was a lawyer. My mother is not interested in meeting / knowing any of this information at this time. I am not sure if my Aunt Robyn is.
