I was born February 5, 1973 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. Children’s Home Society was the adopting agency and my adoption went thru about a month later and we had to go to Ventura courthouse. I believe my birth mother was from the east coast, she came to California, had a fling w a boy from high school and got pregnant. She married another man while pregnant with me and when I was born, on paper, he was my father. So they, signed away the rights to me, didn’t leave a note, or a stuffed animal with the adoption agency and never looked back.
