I was (I think) born at UCSF hospital in San Francisco, Nov. 28, 1967. But I was adopted in 1968. According to the adoption papers, my birth mother was 17 and a high school student. I’m told the birth mother tried to keep the baby for a few weeks but eventually put me up for adoption through San Francisco’s Dept. of Social Services. She was the oldest of four children.
