Details known or discovered. More information has been filled in lately through DNA matching (23andMe and AncestryDNA) that helped me identify several 2nd cousins, primarily on my birth father’s side. Place of birth: Doctor’s Hospital, San Jose, CA Original Birth Certificate Mother’s Last Name: Acquistapace No mother’s first name listed No father’s name listed Adoption records identified me as Baby Marks. We are not sure exactly where the Marks comes from it could have simply been a court provided pseudonym. Recent DNA matching and communication with identified biological cousins has confirmed with high level of confidence that I am a descendant of Richard Benjamin Fry. He is most likely my great grandfather. We have further reason to now believe my father was Basil (or Bacil) Fry, son of Charlie Fry. He was known to reside in Santa Clara County at the time of my birth, or at least my conception. He disappeared shortly thereafter, possibly as a consequence of the pregnancy. He was 29 years old. Research in ancestry has led me to a possible identify of my birth mother with last name Acquistapace and relation in some way we have not fully determined to the name Marks. I am reluctant to include her full name her as it is purely conjecture at this time without any hard evidence other than the last name on the birth certificate.
