She was probably born in Berkeley or elsewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area, possibly Herrick Hospital or Alta Bates. Could have been June 1953 or 1954. She was privately adopted. Her biological father was a vet in San Francisco named Ed. Her biological mother was a struggling widow with two other girls to raise. She may have been called "June" because that is the month of her birth. The adoption was kept secret until about 12 years ago when my aunt revealed the story. Other family members did not recall any of these events. I have tried many avenues, but have not been able to find any answers. "June" has two half sisters who would be happy to know her today.
