I have obtained non-identifying information and my adoptive mother remembered a few bits of information. This is what I have: birth mother was young and unwed. Birth father was unwed (widower ?) In the military. He offered to marry her but she declined. Both were tall (I am 5’11" tall). There was no medical family history of note. I am in 23andme and have found only 1 first cousin but who I haven’t been able to reach. I was fostered as a baby by a foster mom who called me Patty and who took copious notes on every meal, burp and dirty diaper. I have one brother who was also adopted but from different birth parents. He is two years older. My adoptive father was raised Jewish and my adoptive mother, Presbyterian.
