Sharon Fritcher was my birth mom. In December 1963‚ her husband‚ Donald Louis Roberts‚ returned home from Vietnam. Sharon had an affair & was 3 months pregnant & went to Fresno‚ Ca to visit her 1/2 brother & his wife‚ James Thomas Fritcher & Carolyn (Stanford). Sharon brought my 1/2 sister‚ Debra Roberts (Dominee) her 5 yr old daughter with her to Fresno which I recently found out‚ Debra remembered that visit to Fresno when her mom was pregnant with me but they didn’t return home with a baby (me). Carolyns 1st cousin‚ Florence Kay Haskins & her husband Eugene Wilburn Haskins were my adopted parents. Carolyn knew they wanted to adopt a child because there son‚ Dale‚ was born at 4 months term & had several birth defects so they were afraid to have more children of their own. Carolyn contacted Florence & told her of Sharon’s pregnancy and asked if she would be interested in adopting her baby when she gave birth & Florence said YES! The paper work was filed & approved & on June 12‚ 1964 Florence & Eugene traveled to Fresno County Hospital to take me home to Saugus‚ California (Santa Clarita) where my family lived til I was 5 & we moved to Coquille Oregon on The Southern Oregon Coast in Coos County. I currently live in Coos County in Myrtle Point Oregon but I have moved away several times & returned to Coos County on & off thru my adulthood. Most of my biological family suffered from addiction &/or alcoholism & are now deceased except for nieces‚ nephews & possibly cousins. At the time I created this profile on adopted.com I was 49 & it was 2013. I am now 60 yrs old & it’s Aug‚ 27‚ 2024 & I have updated a lot of info that was incorrect about Sharon Fritcher‚ my bio mom & my 1/2 sister‚ Debra Roberts-Dominee. Sharon Lee Fritcher-Wegner September 11‚ 1942 - February 1‚ 2021 When I finally found Sharon I was too late‚ Sharon died approx 3 months before I found her
