My grandmother‚ Mary Maxine Kirk made an adoption plan for a baby girl in the early 1960's in the state of California‚ possibly in or around Los Angeles. She came back to the state of Kansas after the baby was born‚ as she had 3 other children to take care of. I had heard that the baby may have been Caucasian (Mary) and Black (Bio dad). The adopted woman did reach out some years back to my uncle‚ Steve Kirk‚ of Topeka‚ Kansas. He did not share any information beyond that with my mom and me. We would love to meet our aunt/great aunt.
