I was very young (16 years old) and refused to abort (catholic and dont believe in abortion). My mother had other plans for the baby. I left home and moved to California (worked at a non profit- that didn’t ask a bunch of questions). After giving birth (on Monday‚ 12FEB86)‚ I took my son (Aaron D Houston) home to bond and tell him that I loved him daily. I also‚ explained that the life I wanted and (so desperately) hoped for‚ wasn’t something that I could give. Incidentally‚ after keeping and bonding with him for 2 months a couple was found. The adopt center (Gillian was her name) at Children’s Home Society (3200 telegraph avenue) contacted me saying that a family‚ I believe was Kennedy‚ had been found and I may like. On Friday‚ 25APR86‚ with so much love and devotion‚ I handed my son over and signed adoption papers. I hope he has had a beautiful life!
