I am looking for the birth mother of my adopted daughter. My daughter has always known she is adopted‚ and we have told her we support her meeting her birth mother as long as her birth mother wants to meet her. Her birth mother had two other children at the time of my daughter’s birth‚ and had kept the pregnancy a secret from those children. Her birth mother’s name was Lydia Hernandez‚ and my daughter was born on October 4‚ 2002 in Hanford‚ CA. At the time‚ Lydia did not want her other children to know about the baby. She asked me to let her meet my daughter when she was “grown up.” Unfortunately‚ the adoption agency who handled the adoption has ceased doing business. The name of the agency was “The Adoption Center of Choice.” If Lydia desires to establish contact with our daughter‚ we are open to helping facilitate that contact.
