I was told that the name given to me at the time of my birth was Monique. I was born in Torrance‚CA at Harbor General. I have searched over the years and have found that my biological mother’s last name could be Barnes. She was tall. She was from Swedish and Italian decent. She worked as a volunteer in a hospital. She herself was adopted and so was her mother. I was also told she had polio when she was younger. In my searches I found that my biological father’s last name could be Choquette. the records I have states that he was a very tall man and that he worked in construction. The records show he was from French decent. I would like to find them so I can understand more about me. I have never understood who I am. I feel that I have never "fit" in with the family who adopted me. They are my family and I love them but I feel that they and I have never understood my biological lines.
