I am looking for the biological family of my deceased (maternal) Grandfather. He was adopted as an infant in or California. His adopted name is Gary Lee Ingram. Adoptive mother was Dona Ingram. Dona shared on her deathbed that Gary was adopted. That he originally had a large family of possibly 8 siblings (he was the youngest). We believe his mother and father were immigrants who passed through Elis Island. The biological parents names were possibly Maria Conelli (of Sicilian heritage) and Roy McAllen (of Scottish or Irish heritage). Adoption records are sealed (if any exsist at all). All involved parties have passed. Just looking for connections for family heritage and health information. Gary has two daughters who have looked for years for this information. I am his biological granddaughter. I have a birthday for Gary of July 29th 1944. Gary and his family relocated from Downy California to Sand Springs Oklahoma. Gary served in the Air Force. Picture of Gary‚ His second wife Anita‚ and her mother Pearl Estep. Last picture is of his adoptive mother Dona Lenora (Edwards) Ingram (11904-1993). Dona Had two sisters Shirley and Eudora that were connected to old oil money out of Bartlesville Oklahoma. Adoptive father was her husband Thomas Huston Ingram(1904-1981) Dona is burtied in Caney Kansas. We are on ancestry for DNA.
