The surname on the CA birth index is Basil A Rivera which was bio moms name at the time. Her maiden name was Carpente but they truncated at 8 letters so we think it is Carpenter. We have the non identifying info showing a male sibling about 2 years older. We know that birth father came from a large family from Puerto Rico. He served in the US Army and they were separated at the time of the birth. She lived with her mother who was unwilling to care for another child. They lived in Los Angeles, CA. I can’t find a first name for either of them which would help the search. I’m helping my ex with this search and have been helping him since I learned that he was adopted. Please if anyone can help I would appreciate it as now my son continues the search for the paternal side of his family.
