I know little about my father’s life before he met my mom but I know he had a girlfriend who was pregnant in the 1969/1970 and she she gave him up for adoption, possibly to a family from Campbell River. My father did go to court to try and get custody of the baby but was turned down by the judge and the adoption went through. My father’s name is Cedric Aulando and he came to Canada in the 1968 from Brunei. His Chinese name is Haw Eng Au (Aw).
