My birth certificate says I was born in Kamloops British Columbia. My adopted parents never gave me any information and still to this day will not. Not sure why I am assuming they are ashamed a little or may be keeping something from me as my mother has kept many truths away from me throughout my life. I am now approaching 40 years old and want to know if any hereditary diseases I should worry about and also would like to know more about my lineage. My birth parents may or may not be alive but I would love to know their story. Thank you so much.
