I was born in Grace Hospital‚ and it was on April 1st‚ 1969 in Vancouver‚ BC . In the mid to late 1990’s I opted to keep my adoption file sealed at the time. I now have a son‚ 15 years old‚ and have been interested in finding my birth parents for years. I am not even certain if my father was listed on any forms. The times were so different in the 60’s than today. I was adopted by a loving family‚ and have no complaints. Curiosity has been on my.mind for years. My life struggles and the journey I have taken to get well‚ and be the best mum‚ to my son‚ has prompted this inquiry. My adopted parents are Donald H C Paterson‚ and since deceased mother Joan J Paterson. We have remained in Vancouver my entire life. I am 52 now.
