I was 19 years of age when I had my daughter ( Sarah Anne)in BC women’s hospital in 1989. I was a single mother already at the age of 17‚ my son was two at the time‚ and was born in 1987. Their dad was in an out of our lives‚ I had no education and had little to no resources to care for one child. My parents put me into Foster care when they found out I was expecting at 17 years old and I felt I had nothing to give to another child and was convinced by my social worker and the children’s father that it would be better to adopt her to a loving family. My son‚her brother is now 37 years old‚ just turned on July 3‚ I believe she will be 35 years old on November 28th of this year. I think of you and pray for you every day.
